This site is under construction. Please read my bio if you wish and my blog. I am returning to growing and breeding daylilies after a hiatus of 12 years. I have not registered any daylilies and am rebuilding a collection of modern cultivars that strike my fancy. I used my ancestry.com app to research the pedigrees of cultivars that I was considering. Please do not be confused by the gender indicators in the images below. Daylilies do not have gender and may serve as pollen parent or pod parent. When registering daylilies or publishing their parantage the pod parent is presented first. In the image below, 'Cobalt Rings' is the pod parent of the seedling that served as the pod parent for 'Eighth Wonder'. 'Blue Riviera' was the pollen parent in the scenario aforementioned.
'Eighth Wonder' (Petit-Goff 2016) has an impressive pedigree. It emerges from the same ancestors as 'Verge of Glory' and 'Blue 'Eden'.
